we just came back from a wonderful lunch in the bridges inn, after a walk. I couldn't resist the review below. we were served by a lovely young man, tristan, who quickly and cheerfully cared for us. the most important...Dishes looked tempting, but when we wanted something light, I chose the shropshire rarebit, which is nothing like cheese on toast, but right made with ale and senf and burst with taste. the salad leaves were fresh with a complementary sweet and tangy dressing. I followed this with homemade celestial and camouflaged eiseis for which was to die. my man chose the mackerel pate and toast with salat he said was delicious (and we shared a bowl of crispy thin chips). he followed with a very good cup coffee. apart from its beautiful location on the strom, photos do not just the atmosphere in the old gasthof. it is full of character and we would have spent a few hours with it fortunately. we arrived the afternoon when the pub was empty, but from there several tables were taken. tristan and the nice lady from the kitchen managed the order intake very well and attentive. we will definitely visit again and recommend the bridges as first class country inn.
