The Buttery Restaurant

We were here for a very busy Mothers Day brunch, very high quality meal and outstanding beef! A little weird set up for the buffet, but it was busy and crowded and they kept everything moving, fresh and hot. Decor seems a little dated, but is clean and yummy and service is friendly and welcoming. I am excited to go back and have a standard sit down meal off the regular menu. And will be back for brunch too. Our table ranged in age from 2 to 78 and we all left full and satisfied.

This restaurant is great in all ways but one: to get to the buffet, you need to take stairs, and they have no ramp available. They are however okay with a guest video taping the food so that an attendant of family member could show the person with mobility issues the food, that way. But definitely not a place one could go to on their own with mobility issues.

Very friendly place. Good portions and good for quality. Don't expect service to be speedy though. Coffee not the best in town. Clean and homey place.

My favourite restaurant in Newmarket for years. Sunday brunch is always a hit with the kids, and their holiday menus are special every year.
