The Chateau - Tisch reservieren

This is a very traditional Italian-American spot that has been a go-to for generations. Unfortunately, it 's lost a few steps over the years. The server was pretty great — personable, responsive, and attentive — but the hostess literally never looked up from her tablet with a seating chart as she directed us to go straight back to the Gold Room and tell the girl there your name. The food was... mostly fine. The pizza was the quality of a mid-tier chain (e.g., Papa Gino 's), the pasta dishes were at best unremarkable, the bread that I 'd heard was fantastic was a loaf of sliced Scali bread served with ice cold and rock hard butter. It was very loud, which wasn 't problematic for my party but was very noticeable. Restaurants like The Chateau are a dying breed. Unfortunately, I can see why.

Best toasted ravioli I've ever eaten. Disappointed the cappuccino machine was not working, but the service was great and the food delicious per everyone (7) in our party. Easy to get a reservation at last minute also which was greatly appreciated.
