Top Deluxe as expected! The only complaint is that the majority of the staff only speaks English. As a Swiss, it is strange for me that I have to speak a foreign language in my home country. Of course, I also have a certain understanding for this, as there is an acute shortage of skilled workers, especially in the hotel industry; but still. Two small suggestions for improvement: 1. Most guests travel with high quality cars. The valet parking is impeccable and I think it would be nice if the hotel offered a cleaning service for the vehicles so that you can travel home in a clean vehicle after a great stay. 2. We also noticed that the staff generally work in neat uniforms, except for their shoes. Most of the staff's shoes are very unkempt. This is a small detail and of course only noticed by someone who has an eye for it. We would like to come again.
After a long drive I enquired after a room. The reception chap (middle aged, sad, dark hair) tried his best to be condescending whilst telling me only a suite was available and told me the price. I did not ask the price. He then suggested I try the cheap hotel across the road. If I am going to spend over Euro1000 for a suite I expect the receptionist to be polite. And so, I walked across the road to HOTEL BADUS. It was great comfortable, clean, and friendly! I felt a little sorry for the Chedi reception guy: he seemed to be struggling). Response to Owner 's response: Mr Arnold, this did not happen in the last week and I doubt your employee would have recorded it (and probably others). HE IS DAMAGING YOUR BUSINESS.
One of the best (if not the best) hotel I have stayed in. Back here for the 3rd time, the service and staff are still impeccable. The magnificent spa perfect for a relaxing afternoon and the restaurant simply delicious with a mention for the superb breakfast buffet to die for. The Chedi Andermatt is an experience to live once (thank you Qoqa in passing which allows you to have access to this level of luxury for reasonable prices)
We recommend. Price-performance ratio in this category of hotel is very, very good. Friendly staff and generally pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are a nice size and have a great style, just like the entire hotel. Really such rooms for such a price are actually a bargain. I'll be coming to Chedi every year from now on.
