The Cherry Tree

I have never ever had such poor service in the entire 70 years I have been eating out. The women that was booking us in, had no interest in what she was doing and could not seem to find us on the bookings.. I offered to show her our confirmation but she was not interested. She finally took us in to the bar where she asked two customers if she could have there table which was a table for two but we were in a party of three. I could go on and on about the poor service , needless to say we would never return or advice anybody else to go there. Disgraceful service and no apologies.

Been coming here for meals with friends and Sunday lunches with family and always impressed. Sunday lunch is top notch. I’m not normally one to keep returning when you have so much choice around but it’s such good food that unless you are getting a train to London and spending a lot of money it really is hard to find better cooked food. Fabulous family meal. The food was delicious and the friendly (great sense of humour too) staff and really relaxed atmosphere combined to make a lovely evening. Highly recommend
