beautiful lamb roast dinner for a very cheap price. large portions and a good selection of fresh veg. good atmosphere and they can say that the staff really works hard to work it. would definitely recommend a visit!

beautiful staff and accomadting, ordered the salmon cure with reis .nice enough, but rice was not properly cooked, apple crumb for dessert, which was hot, but custard was very casual and milky ..

First time at the chestnut horse and what a lovely surprise. Excellent Sunday roast (tasty gravy) and blackcurrant Eton mess. We will deffinately be back.

Great but quiet, sad that Covid has spoiled a lovely village experience. Please visit this beautiful place, it's a hidden treasure.
