The Crown Inn - Tisch reservieren

We have been going to the Crown for many years, have seen publicans come and go and Dave and Karin, the latest are the best to date. Dave is very much old school country publican and Karin is a superb chef who is not afraid...to look out the box for new recipes. We had an excellent meal this weekend. I had the kidneys and bacon hot pot together with an excellent sauce. For a change, the sauce was not too salty, something many restaurants fail on. It is a meal I would certainly order again. My Son had the lamb and sausages hot pot which he ate with great gusto and my Wife had the vegetarian option of Macaroni cheese which likewise disappeared without trace. If you are someone that wants to get in and out quickly, then this is not the place for you for it is a country pub. Service provided by Debbie is excellent but as everything is cooked to order, all good things come to those who wait. Likewise in the bar, the old habit of interaction with someone you don't know, is still very much alive and ths can generate some interesting debates. If you are a visitor and want to experience a country pub atmosphere, I can recommend the Crown at Uploaders.

so warm and welcoming. a nice cozy pub with a friendly renter and renter as well as brilliant local staff. eating is homemade and tasteful. I had truthahn, ham and mushroom cake. the homemade ginger sponge with custard is incredibly good! beautiful, happy atmosphere. good to find. but you see - there are 3 crown inns in the opposite - make sure they follow the satnav to uploders. nicely clean and simple, but tastefully decorated.

we have booked the Sunday dinner for four in this rustic, welcome dorset pub. we arrived a little early and enjoyed a nice selection of well maintained ales before lunch. accompanying the beautifully cooked meat were numerous sweet, perfect roasts and yorkshire powders like my mother used. to make! a fabulous choice of the pips rounded off a great lunch.

we have booked here as it is close to a family history research center, only for a quick lunch. verkehrchaos meant that we had nothing too much annoyed there early for the fantastic staff. wonderful eating, they were happy for us to hang around. to traffic deleted (but closed! .

beautiful pub, great atmosphere and eating was fabulous will be deffo back. I'm looking forward to next time.
