The Donut Shack

We love that this is a local business and my kindergartener enjoys the quick trip up the street on the occasional Sunday. My husband and I have lived locally our entire lives and have been coming here for decades before as well. We have noticed a decline in the quality consistently in the last year. The cake donuts have gotten really dry and comparatively tiny. The prices just keep going up but we aren’t seeing any improvement to the actual product. Just unfortunate.

Very impressed with donut shack! They offer delivery to some local areas and I definitely recommend taking advantage of that on weekends it is available. They're super nice, their donuts are fresh, they have incredible variety, and they're delicious. I got delivery to Crownsville and at first couldn't find my donuts because the wind had blown our cushions over them but they were there right on time and the shop was super nice in helping me. Will order again.

Often on the receiving end of jokes by locals. The Donut Shack is basically an institution of Severna Park. If you are new to the area, give them a try. They don’t have the best products in the area but they are not bad. I have only had good experiences with the employees. If you don’t like this place, then you are most likely a local that is wishing the park to return to the past.

Overpriced for stale and flavorless donuts. Since it’s the local shop, we’ve tried their donuts twice, hoping that maybe the first attempt was a bad day for them. Well, the second time wasn’t any better. The donuts were hard the next day and out of the assortment, there wasn’t one good donut. —Karen

Love this place! Donuts are great. Fun bar to sit at if you dine in. My kids love it
