I visited FW and decided to find a good hole-in-the-wall Mexican. This one fits the bill. Only about 8 tables, but that was no problem (many people got food to go or through a drive thru). You hand over the guys who make the food when you order, so you know exactly what you get. 4 Tacos to try: steak, chorizo, chicken and pastor. The most tasteful was steak and the least was chicken. I also got a small margarita on the rocks (no hairs or salt, but that was as small as it was). Recommend this place if you want to go for a good, No-Frills-Taco. I'll come back to try more!
The best TACO spot in FORT WAYNE!!! We are regular customers here. The tacos are soooo good. Don't even let me go on her queso, it's the best I ever had. Make sure you order tacos if you want flour tortillas, make sure you tell them! They usually give you maize by default. So if you don't like corn tortillas make sure you tell them what you want. Horchata is also soooo yummy! The only negative I have is their fried ice cream is not so good, but everything is BEYOND amazing!!
Get out. Ordered Steak street tacos and queso with chips. They were hot and fresh. Steak was tender and had really good taste. Corn Tortillas were good, fresh and not stale. Topped with fresh Zilantro and onions. The fried beans were good and also the rice. Only on the bottom were the lime slices slightly dry and there were only 2 for 3 tacos. Otherwise absolutely delicious streets tacos.
The service is top notch and the food is just as good. All kinds of tacos and general Mexican fare. I really enjoy the steak tacos. My son loves their beef tacos. Rice and beans is solid too. Son scarfed my beans and rice before I could take the pic! They have great daily specials too. Wash it down with a Mexican coke!
