The Food Shoppe

Stopped by the food shoppe to try their Cajun style food which was delicious but super stingy with their protein. Picture of the plate showed that it comes with 7 pieces of shrimp but only received three in the shrimp grits plate. I also got the seafood bisque which only had 1 piece of shrimp in it. The creole chicken pasta was good but also stingy with the chicken. The lady that took our order was not welcoming AT ALL super RUDE that i instantly regretted tipping her! If it wasn’t for the gentleman that worked there being super welcoming and kind after the rude owner even cussed him for giving my daughter and I, a tiny piece of their rice pudding for us to try (which I purchased as well, after trying it), I would’ve rated them 1/2 stars because the service was nothing short of horrible and super stingy with their protein. That gentlemen is the ONLY reason I gave them 3 stars!

Popped in randomly and had the Jambalaya. Juicy chicken and sausage full of flavor and spice. 10 out of 10 will be back and recommend if you're ever in the area and want a taste of home style creole cook. It's a must have meal Also make sure you get the bread pudding. It changed my life!

The lady who was working at the front was incredibly kind. Immediately fixed our ordered and gave us a little treat. Definitely will be going again <3
