The Fox Falcon - Tisch reservieren

Possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in my life. It seemed like it was the entire staff’s first day on the job. As soon as we walked in the host greeted us with, “we’re behind on reservations so we can’t guarantee you’ll be seated on time”, then after being seated at the back bar area we decided to stay there for dinner. It took a manager, our server, and a bartender for us to get glasses of water. It took 30 minutes for our cocktails to arrive and unfortunately they were made incorrectly. By this time, we had already finished our first course. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes for the remade drink to arrive which came without the garnish I requested. When I notified the server, she went to the bar and skewered olives and brought them over in her bare hand and proceeded to try and drop them in my glass. The food was decent, but unfortunately other aspects of our experience left a bad taste in our mouth. To be honest, we only finished our entrees so our dinner wasn’t a total waste and we finished them quickly so we could pay and leave as quickly as we could.

Between the so-called “signature dishes,” the mediocre and unnecessarily heavy preparations, this place feels more like an expensive Cheesecake Factory than a nice dining experience. The Vera Cruz dish was SO salty it was essentially inedible (despite a second try to remake it) and the seared tuna made my husband ill for most of the night. The cocktails, while delicious, take forever to arrive, and service at the bar isn’t terrific either. It is no wonder the waitress couldn’t crack a smile during the entire experience ….we weren’t smiling when we left either!

Food was great. Server was a little distracted and wasn’t sure if she had ordered correctly, had to come back and confirm what wine we chose, etc. wasn’t too busy at the time, so not sure why. Wasn’t bad service just seemed at odds with the rest of the vibe. Would recommend though as it was convenient, not a long wait for food and the food was great.

Loved the experience! Being a newer restaurant there were a few kinks in the road but, overall, happy with our dinner experience. Everything was delicious and I loved the menu options. Would recommend to a friend and certainly plan to be back!

Had a reservation for 8:30, but didn’t get seated until 30m later which was annoying. Everything else was top-notch.
