The Friary - Tisch reservieren

Okay. Positives: always looks clean and impressive here. Always wanted to go in because of this. However, I ordered regular chips and some gravy. Went home, opened the chips, and the portion size was extremely small. I even asked the woman in the shop if it was enough for two people and she said yes. At other chippies you tend to have some left overs, but we were left hungry sadly. Also, I was the only one in the shop, and the service was still slow and not too warm. Maybe they were preparing for the county game fans, I’m not sure.

Excellent food and service. The Jumbo cod slightly battered, was beautiful for my 93 year old mother who loved the fresh white cod and ate every bit of it, well recommended. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish Chips and Mushy Peas
