hands down one of the best pubs in hitchin the way lee has turned it around is amazing and he is always a fantastic host. super friendly atmosphere, beautiful house cooked eating and family friendly during the day. never hesitate to eat family, friends, colleagues to the george for a drink or a bite.
The George in Hitchin is a sixteenth century coaching inn full of character, with a Saxon fireplace, a Norman one, and and two Art Deco fireplaces too.
