it has cost a fleshy meal with the family. Heathfield was very busy as they expected it was about 15 o'clock on Sunday. we were greeted when we entered and sat right away. table was clean and ready for us. the service is not as attentive or personal as some restaurants, due to the weight of visitors. their operation is good, however, so it is not required. we didn't need any help, but if we had it, there were many employees who could help. carvery was very well filled, all dishes carved with sweet, kartoffeln and gravy and 3 roasts. Eat tastes great, portions are perfect that they give her meat and a yorkshire pudding. you just add everything you want. my only criticism would be nit picky. as they were so busy, many employees had their backs off and took in bill the very fair prices £10.99 for a standard carvery a real teller full I can only forgive 5 stars and ignore every little handle I had.
beautiful place, great atmosphere, beautiful and busy. very friendly, helpful staff. only 20 minutes waiting for the food, although it was busy. some in my party had carvery, which was fantastic, others ordered from the menu. Separate gluten-free menu with many dips in the offer. huge, beautiful, cake for pudding, much too much to eat for one, good to share or to take home. I forgot to take my phone, so no photos, such a shame.
Our server, Noah, was great. Table cleaned when seated, and although we didn’t really need his attendance (good job, as the servers are flying around because it was peak time to be fair) he did ask us if we were OK and needed anything. Busy session, but we were accommodated and the food was good and great value. All in all, no complaints.
we really enjoyed our tee on the heathfield farm. the personal was friendly and attentive. there is a good choice of meal times to suit every taste. some vegetarian options. the choice of ice and cake looked fantastic, but we were too full to order something, maybe next time. kim was amazing when she looked around us.
