Rumours have been bubbling around about the quality of the food at The Kiosk on Williamstown Beach so we took the opportunity of a sunny day with some light southerlies to stop by. Staff were helpful and not pushy despite the crowds and extensive food options. No chicko rolls here friends, there some delicious looking panini's, cakes, slices and donuts but I ended up landing on a steak sandwich that was absolutely delicious. Served in an Eco conscious paper box with chips, the marinated steak with capsicum, feta etc.. in a nice soft bun and accompanied by some chunky chips and sea salt. Coffee was pretty good here too.It makes for a terrific spot with a huge variety of options ranging from a quick snack through to breakfast or lunch. It'd make for a great 'turning point' on a weekend walk along the beach. Very highly recommended.
A delicious find right on the beach at Williamstown. Smiling personal service.Excellent Illy coffee, a delicious generously filled panini for him, a chocolate croissant for me. Folk around us were enjoying varied breakfasts which all seemed to hit the spot. There were dogs galore passing by and some patiently waiting for their families to dine. We were well-wrapped up for very enjoyable.Melbourne winter day. The café is built for summer time. Today was 15 degrees, sunny and clear. The whole experience was memorable for all the right reasons.
Well what a fantastic location for a coffee on a beautiful sunny November morning, overlooking the beach, at the takeaway kiosk overlooking the sandy beach in Williamstown. Coffee took a few minutes which was OK considering there was only 1 person working and a few customers there. Tables available right on the beach. Popular with cyclists and exercise people including those walking along the beach with their dogs. Can't comment on food or other parts other than the kiosk.
Had to grab something quickly cos the toddler was getting seriously hangry, so grabbed a fish n chip pack to share between 3 of us. We should have grabbed one each as they weren't all that big, but they were so ridiculously delicious that we all wanted more. The fish was absolute melt in your mouth and the garlic aioli was just yum. I know it's only fish n chips, but I'm still raving about it days later. Soooo good!!
