it was great. from the moment we went in and had a pre-dinner drink at the cash, to the payment of the bill of the service was error-free and eating amazing. we were a party of 4 and had the tasting menu. One of us, I don't eat meat and is gluten intolerant. it was not a problem for the kitchen in the lighthouse, nothing was too much annoyed. the very green asparagus and peas risotto with broccoli I was served while the others had their meat course was one of the best if not the best risottos I ever tasted. such price-performance ratio also at 50 pfunds per head. we have pampered ourselves in a few bottles of wine, and the young also had the cheese course, but nevertheless, good value for money and an amazing evening. we will definitely return. a must if they are all a reasonable drive away in the opposite st georges park, jcb and alton towers.

I have visited the Lighthouse many years ago and today I have taken my husband there to celebrate his birthday. Staff were absolutely fantastic, they could not do more for us, food is still as delicious as I could remember, came to the table in no time and we really liked walk in the village after the dinner. Would definitely recommend
