The food was great, if a little overpriced though, the service was poor after being seated we waited 20 minutes to get our drinks order then another 25 mins for the starter to come they forgot a bottle of wine then took ages for the mains to be served even after we asked how long it would be the excuse was they were very busy , being as we booked I would think they would know that and have extra staff on if fully booked Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I don't expect to be waited on every second, but taking 30+minutes before we had our first round of drinks is not on. Hire another staff member, you're charging enough. Decided that we wouldn't wait for desserts as it would be another hour waiting. Good food though. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Great place to come and stay if in the Rutland area. Food outstanding in the restaurant and service is top notch. Bedrooms are very clean and presentable Price per person: £70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Lamb Curry

They've really done a good job making this hotel very stylish and yet homely and warming. Stayed for one night whilst on business and had a good night sleep and enjoyable breakfast. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
