This is a great traditional pub that attracts a diverse range of customers. It can get very crowded during football matches, but that doesn't bother me. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is always lively. Despite hearing about some incidents, I have never witnessed any fights at this affordable pub in the city.
Good pub with pool table, (great price .... 2 games for £1) and darts board. Plenty of screens to watch a variety of sports on. Outside area with large screen at the rear for smokers and warm weather. Prices very good with Stella at £3:40 a pint
