The Old Bull Inn

I have just left the old bull after staying for nights on business.From the moment I arrived all of the staff were super friendly and did everything they could to make my stay everything it should be.The rooms themselves are old and dated and definitely need some money spent on them to bring them up to date, and the fixed shower head in the bath was so low I could not even stand under it, and I'm only average height. The room was also not serviced for the whole week I was there.The food in there was absolutely fantastic, I ate in the restaurant twice in the evening and both times it was so good, and breakfast every morning was really good with plenty of choice.Apart from the overall cleanliness of the room and the fact it's really dated, it was a good place to stay.

We ate here on a Sunday. Group of nine with one fussy old age pensioner! And they catered for him, Camembert onion rings garlic bread and chips! Cannot fault the staff who were pleasant and efficient, serving us table service our drinks as well as food that wasn’t on the carvery. had the Sunday carvery and it was hot with a variety of meat choice… we were impressed

Disappointing , closing bar at 10.30 on a Friday night instead of 1am , locking my son out of hotel after a busy day organising his wedding venue then staff blocking cars in car park in morning and having to be asked twice to move them. Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 3

Commenting on the pub, we had a lovely meal here and the service was fantastic, thank you to Milly I think it was for making our experience so enjoyable! The food was fab too, huge portions and great quality for the price. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

A pleasant enough stay and reasonable value for money. I would visit again if I needed to stay in Royston. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4
