Went to lunch today for the first time to the Olive Tree, well , just wow , a real gem . A very warm welcome was given on arrival and we we were so well looked after by Jayne and the team throughout . Vibe...in there was spot on too ! Now for the food … Each of us had a different meal , I opted for the Fish finger sandwich with the VERY BEST homemade chips I have tasted! , my partner went for the Eggs Royale perfect again and my son opted for the steak and home made chips he is still raving about it ! One of us had the Belgian waffles for dessert which was delicious too . Not one to write reviews but feel this was to good not to ! Price felt just right and we will definitely be retuning . If you have not tried this little gem yet please do so !
Table of on the We had a table booked at and the restaurant was full. The service we received on arrival and during the meal was excellent. We all ordered a variety of options and we all commented on the quality...of food. Our disappointment arose at the end of our evening at when we asked for after dinner drinks. We were confronted with the comment “do you expect me to make you drinks all night? “We have family too” considering our bill was at on a Friday evening, and we wanted to enjoy a couple of drinks we found this attitude completely unacceptable. As mentioned above the food was excellent but was let down by an unwelcoming ending leaving a bitter taste, to what could have easily been a fantastic evening
Enjoyed a Sunday Roast with my Girlfriend and we both enjoyed it. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress with a warm personality who kindly found a good table next to the window. We both ordered Roasts mine was nut, my girlfriends was beef, we...enjoyed eating them I particularly liked the parsnips which had a mouth watering honey glaze on them. It’s located a little up the road from New Brightons busy waterfront so a very handy if you don’t like congestion. Would definitely come back.
My Daughter myself had a lunch time special at the Olive Tree Bistro. What a fantastic treat, the fish n chips we’re Amazing as was the Sticky toffee pudding for desert . Well worth the Price . Excellent service from this Family run Restaurant....Thanks Jayne . Will be back soon !
