The Peak - Tisch reservieren

We turned up in our motorhome, but the sign on the car park said no motorhomes or camping. We went inside and Jack explained why. We stayed for drinks and returned the next day for food. Had the 32oz tomahawk steak (serves 2). Amazing meal, we had to ask for a box to take the rest with us. Very friendly staff who know their stuff. Will definitely return. Service: 5

Disappointing meal. Food drinks: Beware the homemade stew with large whole raw pickled onions in it. They will leave a wash of pickling vinegar at the bottom of your bowl. Not good. Would not recommend! Also if you run out of bread as described on the menu please inform before food it ordered. Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

Our favourite pub in Castleton, great selection of drinks delicious food. Real log fire for a warm welcome after a long walk. Friendly helpful staff who are always welcoming. Nearby activities: Hill walking cycling nearby. Blue john mines are well worth a visit. Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

Stopped here for lunch, had a great large ploughman's, meat,cheese, pork pie etc, friendly staff nice atmosphere. The only place in town with NO hikers, great. Service: 5 Location: 4
