Recently under new management, I had the good fortune to visit on a lovely sunny day. The new landlord gave us a good run down of how he sources all the food as fresh as possible, and it was clear in the dishes. As a vegetarian I had a variety of options, and my carnivorous friends considered the fish and chips one of the best examples they'd ever had. They're dog friendly, in a lovely location with a nice path sitting just across the road, and the staff are lovely. High recommended for anyone in the area.
Came here with wife and kids just over a year ago and it was my first ever visit to this place. We ordered food, I ordered an Ale and the Mrs ordered a glass of Wine. I must say, the Professional staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable. The meals were cooked to perfection and the best we've had in a very long time. Thanks guys!
