The Port Bistro Pub

My husband and i recently visited the portFor an evening out.We have been several times before, when the previous owners were there:-)We asked our waitress if they had blonde Beer, she said we have two kinds, howeverWhen she brought our drinks, it was actually a lager. We ordered wings as an appetizer, theyWere very small and over cooked.Our meal took a long time to arrive, the bistro has an open kitchen, so we could see meals coming and going, our meals finally appeared but our waitress did not notice, so my husbands meal was given to someone else who had ordered the same meal, meanwhile my meal still sat under heat lamps, she asked the kitchen staff to quickly prepare my husbands meal, this too was over cooked, and was missing cheese:-(We were very very disappointed.It is quite expensive.It will be a long time before we returnTo this restaurant

We sat on the patio, was nice but cool, bring a sweater. We started with the tower of nachos ( allow 30 mins to prepare) they were yummy and the pico is to die for! I wish I got a picture. Meals were very good and you can have anything from pub food to more upscale cuisine. I had the bacon wrapped stuffed with feta chicken. It was really good. Others had wings and chicken sandwich. No one complained about their meal. Service was excellent when we first arrived at 6:30 pm but soon felt like we were forgotten once it got a bit busier. Took forever to get our meals and refills of beer and wine. Seemed others were in the same situation. We could have had at least two more drinks before dinner arrived but no one came back to ask and we didn't even see her to wave her down. All in all I'd go again.

We tried a new place to using Trenton Ontario called The Port Bistro. The food was made on premises and was delicious. If you are looking for fast food this is not the place but if you are looking for good well made food this is the place.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed an evening waterfront listening to Derek' arsenault and friends play on the patio The new menu has fabulous selections The owners and staff are super friendly A chill and trendy atmosphere ????

Stopped in for dinner on a busy Friday. Dining on the patio was very pleasant. Service was very goodand our server was pleasant. There is a decent variety of beer and wine on the bar menu. We had the burger and it was delivious.
