The Prado At Balboa Park

For my daughter's birthday we could not have asked for a more beautiful venue; a patio table, nicely shaded with an umbrella, and looking out over a beautiful garden. The Pavillon organ was playing in the background practicing. Our server was excellent knowledgeable, friendly but not intrusive. The beet salad with a skewer of shrimp was delicious as was the cobb salad. And the flan with berries and a candle made for a festive finale and was heavenly tasting

Our patio dining experience was great- beautiful setting, appreciated that staff are masked, friendly attentive server and delicious food and sangria with lunch, although the menu has been modified to better manage current situation we enjoyed delicious favorites such as the pressed arugula salad with added chicken, Cobb salad and the farmer’s green salad with perfectly cooked added salmon

We love Prado and make a point to visit every time we visit San Diego. Food is delicious, service too-notch and the ambiance on the outdoor patio is marvelous! Crab dip appetizer was a good choice. My pork chop was one of the very best I’ve every had. Great for a special event, especially a romantic date

This establishment tacks on a required and additional surcharge to your entire bill in order to offset the California wage increase. So instead of just raising their prices by they do this surcharge so they can communicate to you how much the despise paying their own staff a living wage

Just love the atmosphere at Prado restaurant. Outdoor dining here is so charming and romantic, beautiful venue. Service was great as well as food
