probably closer to a 4.5, but it would be unfair to assign only four stars. after a few years back visited. mixing grills are what is popular, they literally hear the dazzling of the plate coming out of the kitchen after plating. I was always the only female male in there and it feels like a men's club, but after I said that no one was disrespected or inappropriate and it worked a woman behind the bar. Eat: mixing grill was good, just a tad overcooked, but came with a generous chutney salat thali. naans are pretty big, so we didn't even need 1 person. all the other items we ordered, tasted good and were decent parts. will come back!
On initial view this is a very basic pub. However, the lamb chops are juicy, with an Indian spice mix that is not too spicy with extra garlic coming through. The lamb is tender and the fat cooked to perfection with bits that are charred from the tandoor. My cousin recommended this place just for that. However, also had the Chicken Bhuna and Nan as recommended by the barman. The former had a great tomatoe sauce again with the right amount of Indian spice absolutely delicious. The latter was thin and soft just how it should be, so you are not getting full on the bread. Highly recommend this place for the lads.
I attended this establishment for lunch for the first time today and was not disappointed. The food was outstanding, very tasty and the portion sizes generous. There are a decent amount of seating areas but I imagine it must get busy in the evening. Staff were friendly and welcoming but the only downside is the location, not ideal for parking but don't let that stop you. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
