Disappointing experience. Food generally ok, except the risotto rice was undercooked and my partner ate only half. When we politely pointed this out to the two waitresses that served us we were met with indifference. No apology or offer of an alternative. It’s like they didn’t care. Also the main waitress/manager lacked warmth and enthusiasm, which pervaded the culture of the place. When we arrived we weren’t greeted warmly or showed to a table, just a rather disinterested “you can sit where you like”! Won’t be going back anytime soon

Pop in with my mum to get some lunch and this place was wonderful staff were very helpful and very friendly food was amazing wish I had more time and more space in my belly I would have had more. next time I'm down this part of the country definitely will return

Popped in on the off chance of a table on way back from a rainy day at the beach. Given the warmest welcome! Incredible roast dinner, the best gravy I’ve ever had. Lovely dog friendly pub, wish we lived closer!

Great tasting food and a very good selection. Dog friendly. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend
