Amazing pub with amazing food. Have been there twice in the past couple of days. We booked in advance because they don't usually take walk ins due to how busy they get. Service was really quick and made us feel welcomed as soon as we were seated. Dinner was amazing wr had starters main and dessert. There was an issue with the specials board and that it hadn't been updated so the food that was ordered wasn't what was expected. However staff rectified quickly and offered us a free dessert for those who were affected. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area.
beautiful country pub. super friendly staff, super courtesy and accommodative, beautiful mood. the personal knew dinge about drinks and dishes. local products, delicious food. we had the lamb and swallowed and it came to wait for a short and it tasted fresh and beautiful. we had the local keg beer and the bigger ones was very good. they can make a beautiful walk on the land after their meal. will definitely be back. Do not forget to book even though it was fully booked when we went!
First class. Friendly staff, who actually seem interested in serving you. A well stocked bar, an experienced, knowledgeable barman. The food was excellent. Well presented, generous portions, served by pleasant young people who are going to have a great career in the catering industry. Don’t miss this place, it’s off the beaten track. Find it.
great eating, good vegan options. friendly staff and a beautiful atmosphere. we will be worth the 20-mile bike ride! a lot of bike depot. they even filled our water bottles!
