I visited this establishment last night and it was one of the worse experiences I?ve ever had. The bouncers were incredibly rude and aggressive to the point of choking a man and pushing ladies through the stairs for no reason. There are many ways to handlea situation professionally and violence is definitely not one of them. The bouncers in this bar need some serious training. Inaddition, we also felt discriminated since we got there. The club was horrible and I would not recommend anyone to go there...Iwill not be attending again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Seems like a cool bar if the staff did not ruin the experience. Johnny Hardo, the bouncer, with curly hair and baseball hat, tries to snatch IDs from patrons when they?re completely real or deny patrons access that happen to use a State DepartmentPassport Card, which are valid through TSA, but apparently not legitimate enough to get passed Johnny Hardo?s ID check. This guygets serious enjoyment from the power trip of bouncing at this place. Plenty other better options to choose from in Jax Beach.
*visiting from nyc: Came on a weekday night, so just concerned about good cocktails and enjoyable vibe. Drinks were delicious, if you're looking for well curacated cocktail this is the spot. Bar food was good for a snack to pick on. Not sure what theweekend vibe is like, but if a great cocktail is you're looking for I would highly recommend
Place is not worth the visit. if you're part of a minority community (ex. Foreign, black), they'll find any reason to not let you in and make you feel uncomfortable too but will let in the typical sandal wearing dudes at the beach. You don't have to gotoo far into the reviews to see a common reoccurring theme which I thought was just me
