We have been twice now to the Square Bar and again impressed with the warm welcome from the hosts, indoor dining set out brightly in a fresh blue and white decor. The food is freshly cooked and all home made, the chips are amazing. Outdoor eating available, but we are in our winter months here and enjoyed eating in the warmth of indoors. Parking plentiful, you could also use the Aldi car park opposite. Would recommend.
Don't take your children because if they want a coctail like yours they charge the same price for non alcoholic coctails as the alcoholic one's,also much better atmosphere down the strip in the Celtic bar .Plenty of staff on in the Square but only a couple doing any work.
Well worth a visit, with great food, excellent drinks, and very friendly owners. This is a regular visit for us, and we enjoy the atmosphere very much. Nothing is too much bother, and your food requests will be accommodated as much as possible.
A great welcome from Daniel and Sandie. Great wee place to enjoy a relaxing meal. Good value for money. They certainly know how to do fish and chips. Nice atmosphere. Will go again.
