Booked a table for 7pm on a Saturday and arrived 10 mins early. There was six of us and we were shown to a table. We were promptly asked if we wanted drinks and they arrived quickly with our poppadoms. At twenty past seven we asked if we could order our meal. The waiter took our order and seemed happy to do so. One hour later our food had not arrived and nobody had spoken to us. I managed to get the waiters attention and asked if there was a problem and how much longer we had to wait. He looked at me and just walked away. We waited another twenty minutes and decided to leave. We had no apology and they did not seem to bothered. I noticed they were sending meals out with an app delivery company. I strongly recommend you eat elsewhere unless you are happy to be ignored and enjoy waiting over an hour and twenty min for your food.
Tuesday night. Arrived at 6.20 and restaurant was quiet with a table of two and of one waiting for food. We ordered our main courses at about 6.35pm. Having just had popadoms to start. It was a very very long wait for our food. It arrived at about 7.25. It seemed that the restaurant was prioritising the many take away orders going out. The main curries were good and had plenty meat in. The rice potions were small. The Nan would have been excellent if it had arrived hot. Decent beer but flat cola. Overall the evening was a disappointment. Next time I’ll order a take away!
I wrote about the shrinking size of the nan bread 2 back in May this year but they are shrinking still further. That's it now. I'm no longer going. If you think £3.40 is reasonable for a nan bread no bigger then the palm of you hand then fair enough. I don't so I will now try other curry takeaways. Just look at the whopper I had in the takeway last Friday 18th December and judge for yourself.
Honestly guys we order from you regularly but the size of you nan breads are now taking the p**s. We used to order 2 but now have to order 3. The last lot tonight was so small it was the size of a tea plate. Sort it out or we won't be ordering from you again. It's bread, don't be greedy.
