The Villa - Tisch reservieren

The Villa ruined my wedding. It doesn't look like I'm able to give them a less than one star rating on this review if I could assign a zero, I would. My husband and I planned our NJ wedding from abroad, from two separate cities in Europe. That in itself was a challenge, along with which were concerns that we were very upfront in communicating to the Villa. Everyone was quite accommodating and understanding in that regard right up until we signed a contract. Funny how that's when the trouble began.I will try to be brief, but it will be hard...Communication was a JOKE. Our phone calls and emails were almost always ignored. We never heard from our maitre'd before the wedding, ever. I met him as I entered the venue. The wrong name appeared on the sign directing people into the ballroom. I'm not sure anyone even looked at the seating arrangement we sent, which resulted in my own mother having to sit at a table set up at the last minute in front of all of our guests with no chair cover and no centerpiece. ROACHES IN THE SANGRIA sangria that I paid extra for. I spent two days making trips to several craft stores and spent a lot of money on just the right string of crystals to put on the cake they were never put on the cake, and I never saw them again. Rude staff. Simple requests completely ignored. We were told that the sweet sixteen happening in the room next door would be contained and supervised instead, we had teenagers being rude to my guests and rifling through my toiletry baskets in the bathroom. My personalised champagne flutes were never returned, and when I emailed to ask about them, I was told I'd be gotten back to right away I've never heard about them since. And I can go on. What happened when we contacted Robert Frungillo and his staff? Nothing. We have been blown off for months, and told that the only way our issues will be addressed is if we see them in person. We live in Europe. My stomach turns every time I think about my wedding day; choosing the Villa was a mistake I will forever regret.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!First off, I am typically an understanding, rational, and calm person that does not want to bad mouth a business based on one experience. With that being said, i can no longer hold back the frustration and emotions from my horrible wedding. It has been a year and a half and i can no longer ignore the fact that Frungillo caterers ruined my wedding. Lets start with the place cards that were lost which caused havoc, I 'm sure you can imagine. My 300 guest had no idea where to sit which left people standing and walking out because they felt embarrassed and insulted. On top of that, as i walked out with my wife, they made sure to run up to us (in front of people) and serve us an OVERAGE Bill for tables they had to bring out due to the fact that people did not know where to sit. How can 50 uninvited guest show up? People were running in and out of the hall because they were not sure what to do. The Owner ROBERT came running into the Bride and Grooms room in front of my whole wedding party and (created a scene) said there is not enough food for the Guest. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT IN FRONT OF MY WEDDING PARTY??!! Turns out he was wrong!!!! There was enough food but his staff never wanted to bring it out!!. We had our food catered from another vendor and by doing so the staff at the Villa acted as if they were disgusted by our national food. Each time a guest asked what each food was, the workers made disgusted faces and replied with snarky remarks. This was told to me by multiple people that did not even know each other.. Long story short, (because i could go on and on).... They really ruined our wedding. I genuinely want to save people from having the worst experience possible. I did research and other Venues in the area all know about THE VILLA and how poorly run it is. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR BACK FROM THE OWNER AGAIN. THEY STAFF WILL NEVER CALL BACK AND NEVER FOLLOW UP. THEY SHOULD HAVE REFUNDED US MONEY, AND INSTEAD THEY ASKED FOR MORE!

Me and my fiancé drove 4 hours to visit this place for our post destination wedding family gathering for relatives cannot join. We met the owner and got promised that he will get back to us in 2 days with the menu options and the price. After a week, I emailed him to remind we are still waiting to hear from him, and another week after I called, left messages to his very rude assistant. They never get back to us, even for a curtesy call back. Well, I am kind of glad that we happen to figure what kind of a business they are running and never get to hire them for a such a special day! I think they shouldn't run business in USA, and never plan someone else's special day. I never recommend such a place/people to anyone!

Hosted my wedding reception here when it was The Villa, and have attended a few fundraisers here since it became The Mansion. As far as banquet halls go, the food is good, the place is clean, and the facilities are well-appointed. The management was easy to work with and the staff were very accommodating.

Nice service. It was very pleasant to be here. The food is delicious. In general, everything is fine
