I walked in yesterday afternoon and sat at the bar. There were 2 other people already seated there, one of whom was chatting with the bartender. I waited patiently as she looked over at me, and continued her conversation for 3-4 minutes. As she started walking toward me, the man she had been speaking with said something else to here, so she turned back and began conversing with him again. I said, hello?! , to which she replied, I am in the middle of a conversation! I said, Enjoy your conversation, I 'm leaving and she replied, Good . I turned back to her, asked if the manager was in; she said, no but his name is 'Mark ', you can call him I tried to do so 3 times, received a recorded message with prompts for catering, management, etc. Not at all surprisingly, based on my 'one and done ' experience, the management voicemail box is full, and not accepting new messages...
The Whistle has two locations, and this review is based on a recent visit to their Tinley Park location. If you're looking for a good place to watch the game, the Whistle is your spot. Tons of TV's cover the walls of the bar. Our server Sam was excellent. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and there were plenty of college football games on. It was pretty busy, but we waited for nothing. The menu was typical sports bar food.. wings, wraps, burgers, flatbread pizzas and tacos and baskets of fried foods. The food was good. It isn't going to change your life, but it's good. Lots of competition when it comes to neighborhood sports bars, but The Whistle holds it's own.
Great service, great food- men’s bathroom smelled worse then Brookfield zoo, **** smell all over. Time to get a cleaning service!! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
