The Wooden Spoon

I just spent a week in Brighton and stopped in because I was intrigued by their sign, a giant wooden spoon. I'm so glad I did! This place is so amazing I went there twice in one week. The food is imaginative, classically prepared and flavors on point. All sauces and dressings are scratch made. I had the truffled gnocchi appetizer which was fresh and delicious. Another small plate I tried was the sweet and sour tofu with sesame and pineapple, also delicious. My favorite dish was the mushroom and Brie bisque. I would return for that soup next time I'm in Brighton! The service is great, from hostess to bartender to GM. Every attention to detail with a genuine caring attitude.

this cozy and hip restaurant has friendly waiting staff, spacious! tables and incredibly unique dinner dishes. when I ordered the Gnocchi dinner, it was the first time that I had this food without meat! at his place was corpses along with handmade kartoffel gnocchi, which I think was fried and immersed in a sweet sauce of some kind. the nasalat was super fresh and balsamic dressed that was from this world! my man loved his bowl tomatensuppe with basilikum and cheese up! everything was incredibly delicious!

best night out! sa on the terrace, enjoyed the live band, and fabulous eating. we had the queso I highly recommend, walley taco, and tostadas. the strawberry basil limonade was so wonderfully refreshing! we cut off the night with flourless chocolate cake! the bathrooms were clean and well equipped.

our favorite location spot! comparable to zingermans in a2 and laundry in fenton. she asks us all, picky food and food. friendly staff, delicious food and a beautiful terrace menu.

great experience! amazing crusty/drilled, crafty sandwiches full of taste, with a very tented / ugly staff. they would be highly recommended!
