Stayed for one night and had a room in the annexe which was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space and an ensuite shower and toilet. Comfy bed, hair dryer provided and a fan which was useful as it was a warm day. Ate in the bar in the evening and would definitely recommend the food. The fish and chips were excellent . Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly , helpful staff. Plenty of parking at the rear, tokens for barrier from the bar. Can't wait to return.
The wife and myself stayed here for 4 nights and had an excellent stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The breakfast was superb and catered for every taste. We also had 2 evening meals in their restaurant, which once again were superb! The bar is comfortable, especially the snug, although finding a table can be a challenge! A near perfect stay and worth every penny, we can’t wait to return!!!
This is a nice pub located on Skipton's main street. While the entrance feels a bit like a corridor, it opens up to several cozy rooms inside. The decor and dishes give it that classic pub feel. We sat in the dog-friendly room which featured a fireplace, comfy armchairs, and a view out to the street. The food came out in no time and tasted great. Staff were friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth a visit.
A fantastic pub offering bed and breakfast accommodation. We were only staying one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were welcoming, our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. And the breakfast offering was great. Really great value. Would definitely stop here again if visiting the area.
