Tolbooth Tavern

Stumbled upon this cosy wee pub during a stroll through Falkirk's town centre. Had their macaroni which was pretty tasty and a good giggle with the staff and locals. Prices could have been a tiny bit less but no regrets with the food! I was surprised I hadn't heard of the place before, for sure one of Falkirk's hidden gems. They have karaoke as well as quite a lot of events through out the year. Great place for a meal or a casual pint! Situated on Tolbooth Street. (Legend even has it the tavern is haunted!! If I'm ever in Falkirk Town centre again it will be a likely destination to revisit.

Went here for lunch with my husband it was very busy when we arrived we found a table and sat down. We have been here before many times so we knew what we wanted . We ordered and waited and waited..... turns out we had to wait on them making our meals from scratch as they had ran out due to being so busy. When the meals arrived they were well worth waiting on and were delicious

Very friendly and very accommodating to families with small children. We popped in for lunch with another family and the folks that run the place were brilliant. Just what we wanted a nice friendly spot where nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Had a great night thanks to the staff as they were very welcoming and so friendly. We will definitely be back soon. Next time we are going to try the food from Gluten free menu as my Husband is Celiac and looks like there is a lot to choose from.

New owners really need to decorated the place, it's minging!! Inattentive staff brought food but forgot to bring cutlery. Used to be ok here but won't be going back.
