Tom Grainey's Sporting Pub

My girlfriend lost her jacket here and they had no regard for it. All they cared about was being done with their shift and getting done for the night. Also had a completely sober friend kicked out of here because she accidentally bumped another woman. This bar absolutely stinks. The basement is gross and covered in alcohol. Way too many underage college students let in as well. Horrible experience. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately, I 'm forced to rate this place a '1 ' otherwise I 'd rate -10!! Bartender/Bouncers/Security are arrogant, abusive, ego maniacs that get a rush harassing young women (21+ . Must make them feel like big men! Drinks and atmosphere NOT worth your dignity or safety! Stop supporting establishments like this until they learn how to respect patrons who ultimately pay their salaries!

Denied my friend entrance with a valid South African ID, because he didn 't understand it . Incorrectly told her she needed to carry her passport with her at all times (then proceeded to tell me I look like a fat Forest Gump after I told him he 's wrong). Least professional bar in all of downtown Boise. Avoid this trash bar at all costs, all are welcome elsewhere.

Justin and JP were excellent bouncers. There is no question that they made me feel safe in this bar. I can’t imagine a place in Boise that I would rather be. They are awesome.
