Tom Jenkins Bbq

Today 7/29 (Saturday) at 3:28p, my husband placed an order at the restaurant (walk-in) for three (3) 1/4 dark meals. He requested Mac and Cheese for all three meals. He had a seat and waited for about 10 to 15 minutes for his order. His order was completely packed and his number was called only to be told that there is no more Mac and Cheese?! Why couldn't you tell him that you were out of Mac and Cheese before he placed the order or before he took a seat to waste his precious time????! He requested a refund and left. Mr. Jenkins please talk to your employees before they run your business into the ground. It is a discouragement to even consider eating there ...you're always out of something including chicken and so early in the day.I've been going to Tom Jenkins for about 12 years now. I have never left a bad review before for any business/restaurant ...this is the 1st but absolutely necessary. Please do better.

This place is far from home but I was in the area and stopped for take out. 4 PM on a Tuesday, not crowded. I didn't know they served St. Louis style ribs no rib tips or I would have thought twice about the price. They offer a full rack for $18.99 and a jumbo full rack for $25.99. The difference jumbo is a few more ribs, meaning a larger rack. I ordered a Jumbo, not cut up, because I had to reheat it when I got home. What I recd. was a covered aluminum pan with a $18.99 rack and a few extra ribs that turned out to mostly bone, over cooked and not much meat. For $25.99, a 3 at best. A large ? order of baked beans, a 2, for $3.99. Not too hot. Needed some rib meat and maybe a little BBQ sauce in them. A large ? order of collard greens, a 4. They were pretty good. Their BBQ sauce is tasty. This place has been there for a long time and, I think, for the price, they could do a lot better.

Today Is August 4, 2023 ..I ordered three dinners totaling $67 the Food was not looking Good..I had to ask for more Ribs ,they were burnt.. No Pork Ribs just these Skimpy ribs with no meat..Seems like the Server didn't like the fact I asked for more Ribs and Chicken.. I use to like coming here , but I don't think I'll be back cause the Meat not worth the Money.

Ohhhhh man. This is REAL BBQ. Straight to the point southern BBQ. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all so good. The sweet potato pie and peach cobbler is also amazing. Service is great and there's always room to sit inside or out. I 100% recommend and will always re-visit when I'm in the Ftl area for lunch. Closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Good food, but the service especially the lady at the register is so bad, that I have to mentally prepare to go there. They are lucky they have the best bbq around.
