Toro Toro - Tisch reservieren

A much anticipated dining experience at a supposedly top-rated Spanish restaurant was marred more or less from the outset by the cavalier and all too chummy attitude of the waiter assigned to our table of four, who definitely seemed in high spirits. While the food...itself was acceptable (but by no means outstanding or exceptional), the demeanour of the waiter was not. A degree of bonhomie at a Spanish restaurant or tapas bar is always welcome, not to say expected, but overfamiliarity is not, and outright rudeness is always unacceptable, whether or not the setting is Iberian. The disappointment at the lack of professionalism on the part of our waiting staff finally tipped over into irritation when a full glass of wine was knocked over as one of the courses was being cleared. No particular apology was offered, let alone any compensation for soaked clothing: the glass was simply righted and obsequiously refilled from the bottle. In the minds of the waiting staff, the matter was closed. Better Spanish food in general and paellas in particular have certainly been consumed elsewhere, and a restaurant that boasts a number of entries in various food guides such as GaultMillau might want to reconsider the design of its menu; large-font laminated pages behind plastic sleeves are more in keeping with food stalls on the streets of any South-Eastern Asian city. We shall not be returning, at least not under the current ownership and management, which is a shame as the setting is pleasant, and much could be made of these premises

Let me start by saying you might have not eaten better in Spain!!! This is by a mile one of the best restaurants I have been in my life. What a place. Where it is located, up a little hill in the midst of old...trees which cover it, offer shade and keep the heat away. There is parking in front. They open at hrs (you need to book a table in advance) From the moment you enter, their is this warm, cosy, authentic and friendly feeling that you just arrived in this spanish jewel just right in Salzburg, Austria. The waiters either seem to be spanish or are spanish, they are funny, attentive, knowledgable and can take the posh touch out of the store and bringing it to your heart instead of your mind. Got a great table (if the weather is nice, sit outside if you are a large group try to get the long table) You can choose between a la carte and set menus of either starters vegetarian or a selection of all courses (be prepared when taking you will sit there for hours but its worth it) Regardsless if its is the serrano ham, the entrecot, the scampi, the mussles, the sorbet courses of perfection and greatness all cooked, prepared and served in the best possible manner without ever appearing posh. Sympathic, friendly and authentic. If you have a chance eat it all you are going to love it, and if for whatever reason you would not, share with your neigbor they will

We had the course menu and it was absolutely amazing, one can surely rely on the gift of these chefs. We were there for four hours to be able to eat all these breathtaking courses. Not only do you get courses, but each...one of them is not small I really recommend early reservations as the restaurant was completely booked out for the next two weeks

Summer or Winter, at Toro Toro you will find typical Spanish tapas and great Spanish wine. Ambiente is superbe but the waiters style is even better. They always make you feel special

Definitly the best spanish food out of spain. Everything was so good. We warmly recommend the place. Dont forget to make reservation in advance
