I give one star because I cannot give zero. These people are dirty, unscrupulous, businessmen. We were at the Marriott for a conference recently and had a tee time booked by our hotel. We were never told verbally or by email there was a cancellation policy. On the day of, my wife was very ill and I called our hotel and the golf course more than 4 hours ahead of the tee time (first thing in the morning when they opened. I was told they would charge us anyway. They have refused to refund over $900 they charged my Amex, for a round we never played because of illness when they never informed us of a no cancellation policy. They are no better than thieves and we will be filing suit.

The course is iconic it goes without saying. My issue is with green fees being as high as they are I had expectations. Mainly I didn’t expect to see lawn maintenance going on while playing we had mowers and blowers going full blast on holes we were playing definitely not something we expected.

Great course. While we didn’t hit the ball well and the course is just plain hard, we had a good experience. I would recommend that if you love the game, take the chance to play.
