First couple times were great. Awesome steaks and wings and apps. Tonight was pretty bad. Sat at the bar and ordered a tea and got soda then waited 30min to get our order taken as pretty much everyone else in the place got theirs taken first. About25min later i had to take a call and left for a quieter spot. As I was going back to my seat my son met me and said what Iordered wasn 't available. Sit back down and waited another 25min and finally the app comes out. No drink refills at all. Thenanother 10min and my son and GF get food and the server says I was supposed to talk to you a couple more min go by while thekids are eating and then she says we don 't have what you ordered. How about x, y or z. At this point we 've been here over90min and I need to leave for an appt so I declined any of that. Server says what can I do for you. An apology for making mewait 90min for nothing would have been nice but didn 't happen.
Come here for their amazing steaks at least a couple times a year. Came on a Sunday not knowing they don 't serve steaks. Order their famous nachos and got a plate of chips and a bowl of cheese that tasted horrible. Service was terrible. Almost all theorders for our group were wrong. Very bad experience here for the first time ever. So disappointing
I've lived here for about 10 years and I've heard more and more about tubbys. it is in the did a little st. charles gem. the price, portion and quality of food is really good. ribeye was great, not too fat and cooked for perfection. the salmon was well seasoned and delicious. the wings were really fleshy and good. we'll be sure to order again.
The fish fry we were going to ran out of fish, but Tubby?s saved the day! The tilapia and catfish dinners we had were great. Our appetizers of onion straws and mozzarella cheese sticks were great too! We always have a great meal at Tubby?s.
