We have been going to Tulsi for Dinner and have heard about the good quality of the food and wanted to give it a try. The design is modern and relatively small. The menu selection is small and sufficient and we have ordered and appetizer and a main course + a beer as drinks. It took a while until we could order - it started with the question "Have you ordered already?". This kind of introduced the disaster that was following and which was also going on at the other tables. Late waiting time until order and much longer time until serving.... We have been waiting about 20 minutes for the first order and waited one hour for the food. All tables were occupied. The service obviously stressed and not organized. Our food finally arrived - but as the main dish only. We asked where the appetizers are - they said sorry and offered them to bring after the main course... Same happened at the table next to us. They simply forgot the side dish. The other table waited more than an hour for their food. I felt sorry for them. In the meantime there was a long line of messengers that were also waiting for the food of the bringing service. The kitchen was completely overwhelmed and made many mistakes. It would be clearly better for the restaurant to abandon the bringing service and try to provide minimal service to the guests. Finally, the only way in which the appetizer showed up was of course on the bill. Likely the computer does not as easily forget as the service staff. We mentioned the additional charge and got a "oh, sorry" as if this would be the most normal thing to happen... Well, its likely normal and far too common at Tulsi Indian Cuisine....

This is my second review of this restaurant. We went back as our kids remembered this place and they insisted on going back. So that tells how good impressions this restaurant gave my kids. This time we sat down and it was a nice cool evening. The butter chicken was as good as last time. I chose paneer potato curry as a vegetarian choice. The location is also great near a tram station. Last time I felt the portion was small but this time it was a perfect portion to finish. We will go back when we crave for butter chicken.

Was craving some spicy home cooking on our last night in Vienna and this didn't disappoint. It can be difficult to find restaurants open on a Sunday here so this is a great option. The food was delicious from start to end. I highly recommend the chicken starter (not too sure of the name) but it was so tender and comes with a great sauce. Thanks to Swarti for looking after us so well. Amazing service :)

We ate Indian Food at restaurant Tulsi at Vienna. Food quality was very good and service was excellent. Infact, we do not get such good food even at many fine dining restaurants in Delhi. We strongly recommend travelers going Vienna to dine at this restaurant.
