Under The Eagle

We were visiting the town of Newmarket when we decided to look around for a place to eat in the evening. The restaurant is a little out the way, but can be located by walking off the high street. The menu is extremely interesting and...for a small restaurant very large. The food was exquisite to say the least and the service and help we received from Anna explaining the dishes as well as the traditions was amazing! There was a good selection of drinks and you were given all the time in the world to enjoy both food and drink! Five stars from us!!!!

we have completed a 125-mile round trip to visit this restaurant and I can say it was worth it. the decor was amazing, bringing it back directly to the mountain restaurants in polen. the lady who served was fantastic and eating amazing. it was...partner birthday today and this place made her day. thank you.

had a first visit here. the food was excellent as the service. very knowledgeable staff, even spoke to me from a second starter, as I would not manage my main thing (they had quite good choice of beer and drink. they would be happy and we will go back.

I visited this place for the third time and every single one was amazing. eating is not only amazing, but the friendly and accommodation of the service was great! I can't say enough about how delicious this is. I'll be back soon.

Went here last night with my wife and brother. It is a hidden gem. The food was outstanding, the service exemplary and a wonderful and very memorable experience. Highly and thoroughly recommended!
