Vick's Vittles - Tisch reservieren

A very strange experience. Sat down with my wife and my toddler son to eat breakfast. When the food was brought the table was crowded due to plates, coffee mugs, a bowl of coffee creamer, and the sugar caddy.We proceeded to make room by moving the sugar caddy off the table. A server walked up (not our server) and stated the sugar caddy was REQUIRED to be on the table and put it back on. As we did not have enough room, attempting to minimize what was in our toddlers reach we set the sugar caddy on the floor behind us to keep it out of anyone’s way.A manger then walked up and very rudely stated we could not do that and insisted we were rude to her staff? I guess because we relocated the sugar caddy a second time? The manager proceeded to then raise her voice at us creating a scene. She ripped our plates from us and told us to leave. We attempted to tip our server (as he did a great job) and she wouldn’t allow him to take our money.Not really sure how this happened but WARNING: DO NOT MOVE THE SUGAR CADDY. Holy smokes do they get upset.Filter by bad reviews, no one is complaining about the food. You’ll find a trend via the bad reviews. Literally rudest restaurant experience I’ve ever had.

I 've been a regular at Vick 's ever since they opened but in Robert Vick 's absence the service has declined seriously. Waitstaff and the hostess are surly. This is apparently a longstanding and widespread problem judging by this excerpt from their website: Please understand we are short stafted sic] and do not get mad at my incredible staff. Unfortunately, some people want to take their frustrations out on us, they are asked to leave. You and my team do not deserve their bad attitudes. So, unless you like being treated like something the cat dragged in, I 'd take my business elsewhere.

This place has a cozy environment. The food was just okay. I got a French toast breakfast. The scrambled eggs were a little runny and the sausage links seemed dry, almost like they’ve been sitting a while. We were not impressed with our server Lydia either. My sister said that the service is usually better so I’ll give it another try and order something different next time.

Wow was this place packed and busy on a Sunday! Put us in back room with my elderly dad and bunch of screaming kids. Food was sub par- ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Nothing special here. Green Chile Gravy which I was excited for had no flavor and I was disappointed with my meal. Won't be going back soon.

Still miss the Sunday Buffet, which disappeared during the pandemic. A couple of menu highlights are the green chili chicken enchiladas and blueberry pancakes. The chicken fried steak is also decent. I do wish when we ordered hash browns extra crispy, they were actually extra crispy.Food: 4/5
