Went here with the kids for a quick dinner. Let's get to the good, great set up, good menu choices as I always believe less is more and usually better, good wine selection and nice feel to the place someone is connected by heart.The not so good, pre-baked pizza bases without flavour, toppings where slightly burned so was a quarter of the crust.Overall to bland even with good quality toppings could be a great place if flavours where there.I agree with its not about how much you put on a pizza but the secret is the dough and the sauce as we all prefer different toppings.Also I ordered a coke zero with ice but I got ice with a little coke zero.Service was friendly and quick.Prices are reasonable even if I think for a $22 pizza the dough should be freshly made.That used to be the Art of pizza making.
this deceptively small cafe branching out off the side of the IGA was a winner from the day it opened. off the beaten track and away from the parking meters that infest parramatta, it sits directly opposite the park (doyle ground) making the most of the gorgeous sunshine most of the day. staff are friendly, coffee is great and this is the place to go for the best "vanilla slice" which is or used to be made fresh next door in IGA.
We were back here and had lunch as a group of 3. As usual the coffee is very good! The meals were all lovely. Everyone enjoyed the lunch. Service was good and friendly as usual. Lovely spot of lunch on a sunny day. Parking is not a problem. Excellent value-for-money
We go there every so often for brunch or lunch. This time was lunch. Meals are still very good. Nice ingredients and good selection. Parking is still easy. Coffee is still excellent. Always a very enjoyable spot on a nice sunny day.
