I must admit that the first couple of times I purchased coffee at Vigilante, I left with a bad taste for the place. Overall the coffee was good. Many of my friends say they don 't like it, but I love a super strong cup, and this place makes a solid cup of powerful joe.So I was sour on the attitude I received from the staff (clearly I was neither young enough nor hip enough and figured I 'd not be back.Then I needed to prepare a proposal on a drab and rainy day. So I walked to the shop and purchased an Americano and sat down at a table with my tablet.Four hours and two Americanos later, my opinion of the place had softened. The buzz of the other patrons working was great, and the music being played was an eclectic mix of curated rock era songs. Very impressive.When I asked the staff who selected the music, I was told usually it 's the bartender (not barista , which was delivered with a strong dose of smug disdain for my uncool question.Somehow I enjoyed it all thoroughly and will patronize this establishment again next time I need to get down to some writing and be powered with a strong good coffee served with a healthy dose of hipster attitude.Peace Out
Bagel was awesome. It wasn't one of those bagels where you feel like now you have to take a seat and a break. It was refreshing and not too heavy. Coffee was really good. (I'm basic, I got an iced latte)Food: 5/5
Very smooth coffee, delicious in fact. One of the best cappuccino/mochas I’ve had in some time. Service was friendly too and nice industrial/hip setting. Bonus points for no plastic lids.
I order Decaf Ice Latte. This is good coffee. The aroma is nice. I like their sourness. The staff is nice. The coffee shop is well decorated. It's cozy and so green.Food: 5/5
