It had been some time since I last had a meal here so I thought I would give it another try. Table service was very disappointing as apparently it is okay to serve food on a table that is not clean. Food was quite average crab cakes were very deep fried and lacked seasoning. Tuna salad looked nice but needed a good dressing to compliment the colours in the salad. The tap water smelt like someone had cleaned out their fish tank. Handy location but very disappointing.
Frequently dine here and love it! Wonderful atmosphere and love the interesting and funny conversations with the owner. The fish specials are always so fresh and full of flavour, but its also hard to go past the Char grilled Cape Grim Fillet of Beef, Roasted Garlic, Deep Fried Egg, Pancetta Roasted Potatoes.
Very convenient for dropping in to meet with friends Even if we only have a coffee, the staff are always welcoming and quick to provide water.
