It's been months since I was there but I can still vividly remember how I felt after dining experience in Le Vicenso. We were greeted and seated in a welcoming manner. The food was well presented, the portions were decently sized for a combo menu. The cold cut was the best I ever had! Pizza was average (not great, not bad). The dessert was tiny - definitely not worth the full price. As the evening progressed, the restaurant filled up and got saturated with cigarette smoke. Our experience ended with the waiter completely ignoring my partner who was standing at the bar waiting to pay. From where I was sitting, it was obvious the waiter had deliberately discriminated him in favour of serving FOUR young 'ladies' who were just as ignorant not to acknowledge that someone else was queued up before them. So at least 5 minutes passed, I was getting very frustrated and indicated to my partner he should come back to the table and have a seat as it didn't look those customers were about to be done with their payments any time soon (with all the pleasantries and useless chit-chat with the waiter). After another 'lady' walked up to the bar to make payment we finally got our turn, paid and left as quickly as possible.A perfect display of French/European arrogance & elbowing - I wouldn't go back.

Would have got 5stars had my 'tiramisu' been more than squirty cream and a couple of dry sponge fingers. Extensive menu of pizzas with a choice of cream or tomato bases,a few pasta dishes. There was only one young waitress on when we visited and it was very busy, but she was amazing, kept on top of things, very friendly and good humoured. The pizzas were lovely with a really thin base and plenty of topping. We had a carafe of house rose, which was lovely and my husband had a fabulous dark chocolate moussse it was a shame that my tiramisu felt like it had been quickly cobbled together. It is situated in a small street in the old town with several other cafés and restaurants nearby all vying for outdoor table space,so makes for a great people watching experience.

Ended up at the Vincen'So by accident and loved it there. Already the started was excellent (pizzetta), the same is to say about the pizza and the parmiggiana. Service was excellent as well, décor very nice. Prices absolutely ok, rather below average when comparing to Italian restaurants in the center. The seating area is in the cellar, in summer there is a terrace. NB: the address is at Rue Saint Comte since Q3 2015. Definitely a place to come back to.

We have had both lunches and dinners at this charming Italian restaurant and we are never disappointed. Vincenzo does the cooking and Sophie serves their guests, all under the warchful eye of their adorable little boy, Lorenzo. The salads are wonderfully done, the pizzas are very good and the dinners, from veal to pasta, are perfectly cooked and well-presented. We enjoy the atmosphere, too!
