I wish I could just say that the service is horrible . Unfortunately, my experience in this place was more of a discrimination than a horrible service; On a normal day I walked in this place, sat at a table and wait for the service to give my order. 10 mins passed no one came. There were only a few customers. So I decided to go to the cashier and order my food. Despite the fact that the lady at the cashier had already seen me seating there, she first took the order of another costumer first. After the order, I never been asked if it 's for to go. In fact, I myself mentioned that I am seating there at a table. The food finally came in a box which surprised me. So I opened and started eating. Then here comes the most offensive part !! The lady comes to my table and says (with an unusual loud voice such that the costumers on the neighborhood turned back at me with surprise) Sir you can not eat here !!.... You are not allowed to eat a for to go food inside ...!! I am a research scientist on this campus and usually deep in my thoughts. I did not really pay attention to what just happened. Re thinking, though, this act, and if possibly a rule of this restaurant, is obviously against all the values of UCF. If it is a rule then it should be mentioned clearly and I don 't see any right for a personnel to humiliate and discriminate customers. I highly encourage the manager to come out and write something about it. If this is how one is treated in this place. ... I definitely not recommend this hell place. Don 't let your day be ruined by a (possibly racial/ discriminatory) service.
The food here is a small step up from the other places in the Union, but the service is consistently terrible. Don't come here if you need to catch a class, you'll be waiting for much longer than you think. To their credit though, my friend claims they have the best veggie burger she's ever had. I usually get a fatass burger (which is about average) or a cheeseball (their grilled cheese sandiwch that's pretty good). Overall it's not that bad as long as you accept that it will take forever for you to be acknowledged and for your food to be served.
This place sucks in all honesty. For a basic burger= 50¢ for lettuce 50¢ for cheese 50¢ for a tomato 50¢ for onions. Service sucks! They act like they hate their lives. On top of that I have to pay tip?! If you want onion rings instead of fries it's a $2 up charge. For onions?! They need to reassess their business ways of selling. You get more money for your food eating at the grill by bright house stadium.
Staff is always friendly. The manager, Dan always comes up and says hi, and the food is AMAZING.
This place is great! I highly recommend the Knight Special .
