We stopped in on our way from Oklahoma to Wisconsin. So happy we found this gem! We had oysters on the half shell as an app and they were very large and so fresh. Pan fried orange roughy and wall eye. Terrific flavor, wonderful crunchy edges. Ray was ourserver and was very attentive and efficient. Quaint atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic experience.

The seafood was really good for a landlocked middle-west state! I am from the east coast, so I am quite pampered when it comes to fish and water pleasantly surprised me. Our server was fantastic. Will definitely come back!

I was very sceptical to find good seafood in Des Moines Iowa from the south. This place has changed my opinion with good fresh seafood, strong drinks, friendly atmosphere and bar staff I can't wait to go back.

I frequent this place weekly because their sushi taste just like when I lived in Japan. The will sear the top for you if you're not crazy about raw fish. Staff is super nice and the price is fair.

Sumo salad is always a great choice. Clam chowder is really good. Great clam strips. Reliably good place to patron.
