When you walk past a bar and see through window two people sat in a towing boat enjoying drinks it is compulsory to go and try the place! First thing the design of this place is awesome. Some really niche furniture including tiger chairs and a vaulting horse.... and the boat of course. This is a great spot to enjoy a drink or more and the selection is great. Inventive cocktails if that is your thing but all the regular favourites on offer too! I stuck to the beer which was poured perfectly in clean glasses and tasted fresh. Live music was an added bonus but beware of this if you are seated on the sofas next to the stage when the music starts the conversation will stop. Great atmosphere, relaxed and easy going, coupled with fantastic staff. Special thanks to the bar maid with the red plaited hair and hat who served drinks with smiles and jokes which cheered my cousin and I up whisky drinking to our recently departed grandfather! Thank you, who ever you are! Next time I am in Banbury I will be going here!
Great bar this. The staff are excellent, the decor is really cool with lots of interesting details. The size of the place would mean it would be a great music venue. We didnt see anything happening while we were here music wise but i will keep my eyes peeled for the next time we are in Banbury. Things of note: Sunday is Rum deal day so you get a large one for the price of a single. (BONUS) They sell pizza and there is pizza deal evening sorry I have forgoten which day. They do look good. Really good selection of drinks on tap and as shorts. Thumbs up from me.
what an amazing place! the design is amazing, the owner is fantastic friendly and attentive, so attentive! cocktails are to die, I would recommend this place to everyone. absolutely amazing. 5 stars are not enough
large pizza and prosecco, all they can drink and eat. loved the mood and atmosphere of the Querky decor. personal very friendly and attentive. also great cocktails would definitely recommend.
